Role Description This part-time Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with some flexibility to work from home. In this role, you will work with senior team members to collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to support decision-making for clients and internal projects. You will perform basic data analysis, build reports and dashboards, and assist in identifying trends and patterns that inform business strategies.

Daily activities include documenting data processes, preparing visualizations, and communicating findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate with distributed software and analytics teams, contributing to continuous improvement of data workflows and methods.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset for interpreting data and identifying insights.
- Foundational knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques, including working with datasets and basic querying.




- Understanding of statistics, such as descriptive statistics and basic inferential methods, to support data-driven decisions.
- Ability to design or interpret simple data models that organize information logically and support reporting needs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or entry-level BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
- Relevant education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field (completed or in progress).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid workplace, manage time independently, and adapt to a global, diverse team culture.
