Description

The Role

This is an prospect to play a key coordination role in strengthening how Adelaide PHN manages data, information, quality, privacy and information security across the organisation.

As the Data Governance, Quality and Information Management Coordinator, you will support the practical implementation and ongoing improvement of established governance frameworks. Working closely with the Quality and Business Services Manager, you will coordinate, monitor and maintain key systems, registers, documentation, audit evidence and improvement activities that help ensure Adelaide PHN’s governance arrangements remain effective, consistent and audit-ready.

You will contribute to the maintenance of Adelaide PHN’s certified Information Security Management System (ISMS), support alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and relevant quality management requirements,



and the coordination of activities that promote good data governance, responsible information use and continuous improvement.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Coordinate governance, quality and information management systems, registers, artefacts and supporting documentation.
- Provide advice, guidance and support to staff and key governance roles to understand and apply their responsibilities under approved frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Prepare and coordinate audit evidence, governance reporting, action registers and continuous improvement activities to support organisational assurance.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of Adelaide PHN’s certified ISMS and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 alignment.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen data governance, data quality, privacy, information management, responsible information use and emerging information ethics initiatives.

This position is offered as a full-time ongoing contract. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding. There is flexibility to work from home 1 day per week post induction and training.

Skills and Experiences

About You To be successful in this role you’ll need:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in information management, governance, quality management, business, data management, risk, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating governance, compliance, risk or quality systems.
- Experience supporting or maintaining ISO-certified management systems.
- Strong skills in maintaining governance documentation, coordinating audit evidence, monitoring action registers and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- A strong understanding of data governance, privacy, information security,



records and information management, and risk management.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to support working groups, facilitate operational discussions and communicate requirements clearly.

Experience in the PHN, health, government or not-for-profit sectors, knowledge of Australian privacy legislation, and qualifications or experience in ISO 27001, ISO 9001, DAMA, information governance or quality management frameworks will be highly regarded.
