DESCRIPTION

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is searching for a passionate and talented Program Manager. As a Program Manager, you will collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers, as well as identify predictors and causes of business-related problems to implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction. You will identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.

Key job responsibilities

You will build relationships, identify stakeholders, and influence other teams across organizations and external teams while defining analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel including the ability to create pivot tables and charts, develop formulas such as SUMIF, and use VLookup formulas
- 1+ year of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- 1+ year of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- 1+ year of leading complex programs experience
