About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Best World Australia Pty Ltd in Carrum Downs, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our products reach customers safely and on time. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing logistics operations efficiently.

This role is based on-site at our Carrum Downs facility and involves regular travel throughout the local and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

- Operate delivery vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies

- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled carefully and secured appropriately

- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer delivery schedules

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery dockets, invoices and customer signatures

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns during deliveries

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or damage immediately

- Maintain a clean and well-organised delivery vehicle at all times

- Communicate effectively with the warehouse and management team regarding delivery progress and any issues

- Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

What we're looking for

- Current, valid driver's licence appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role

- Strong knowledge of local roads and ability to navigate efficiently

- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanour

- Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle goods regularly





- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

- Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform vehicle checks

- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
