Job Description

As Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, team development and building lasting relationships with families and the local community. You will lead a newly opened 90-place Early Education Service catering for children from birth to 6 years.

Key responsibilities

- Providing strong leadership and mentoring to educators and the wider team
n
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service
n
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
n
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting the service's Quality Improvement Plan
n
- Building and maintaining a positive, professional and supportive team culture
n
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of educators
n
- Maintaining solid occupancy and developing positive relationships with prospective and current families
n
- Ensuring high standards of supervision, child safety, health and wellbeing
n
- Working collaboratively with the Approved Provider and management team
n
- Leading the service through assessment and rating and ongoing regulatory requirements
n

About you

n

n
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher approved qualification
n
- Previous experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor,



Assistant Director or in a senior leadership position
n
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations
n
- A current Working With Children Check
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
n
- A genuine commitment to child safety and safeguarding
n
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community
n
- A proactive approach to compliance and continuous improvement
n
- The confidence to lead, support and hold a team accountable while maintaining a positive workplace culture
n
