You know how to broke. We'll give you an established commercial book, assistant support and the autonomy to look after your clients properly.

CIB is growing. We're looking for an experienced broker who combines sound judgement with genuine care for clients—and the confidence to win business and ask for referrals.
n
The role
n
Your clients will include building owners, trades and small businesses. The portfolio is mainly Business Pack, with some commercial motor, heavy motor and earthmoving risks.
n
You will own client relationships and renewals, make clear recommendations, negotiate with insurers and convert enquiries coming through our website and referrals.
n
Growth is part of the job: recognising other insurance needs and asking satisfied clients for introductions. You won't need to rely on cold calling.
n
Who we're looking for
n
You can manage a commercial book independently, with the experience and technical knowledge to give clients sound advice.
n
You listen before recommending, ask valuable questions and understand what matters to each client.
You explain insurance clearly, follow through and are comfortable having difficult conversations when the right advice isn't what a client wants to hear.
n
You care about retaining clients because they value your advice—not just because you found the cheapest premium.
n
Tier 1 qualifications, or working towards a Diploma of Insurance Broking, are required.
n
Why CIB?
n
Support behind you. Assistants handle processing and administration, supported by established systems and automation.
n
Trust and autonomy. You own your book, with experienced directors available when a complex matter needs another perspective.
n
Opportunities to grow. You have an established portfolio, inbound enquiries and a bonus on top of your salary.
n
Hybrid working. This is available once probation is completed.
