About the role

Join the team at Classic Hire as a Delivery Driver / Service Person various Perth Metro locations. This is a full time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, service & maintain our hire equipment as well as providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

What you'll be doing

- Carry out basic servicing & repairs of hire equipment
- Prior experience in basic mechanical skills and equipment servicing is an advantage
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport and deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a timely and careful manner
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery times and obtaining customer signatures
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and pre-drive safety checks
- Comply with all relevant road traffic and workplace safety regulations

What we're looking for

- A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence is preferred for this position
- Experience in a similar delivery or service role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry




- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under time pressure
- A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow established procedures and protocols
- Australian work rights are required for this position
