We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Alderley Dental on a 3-day-per-week basis.
We are a well-established dental practice that values high-quality patient care, teamwork and a positive workplace environment.
About the role
You will work closely with our dentists and dental team to provide excellent clinical support and a comfortable experience for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include
- Chairside assisting for general and complex dental procedures
- Preparing and setting up surgeries
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control
- Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms
- Assisting with dental X-rays and digital scanning
- Preparing instruments, materials and equipment
- Supporting dentists during procedures
- Providing a warm and professional experience for patients
- General practice and clinical duties as required
About you We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced as a Dental Assistant or keen to learn
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Friendly and confident when communicating with patients
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a busy dental workplace
- Committed to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
- Well presented and professional
Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
