Simonds Catholic College is a Catholic secondary school for young men in the heart of Melbourne. With just under 400 students, the College is deliberately small, staff know every boy by name, and no student gets lost in the crowd. The Opportunity

Simonds Catholic College is entering an exciting next stage of its development. With significant investment in our facilities, a clear focus on improving teaching and learning, and an ambitious approach to the future of the College, we are seeking an outstanding educational leader to join us as Deputy Principal – Category A.

This is not a narrowly defined portfolio role. We are looking for a Deputy Principal who wants to have an impact across the whole College, someone who will work closely with the Principal, contribute to the strategic direction of Simonds, develop the people around them and be an active and highly visible leader within our community. You will be part of both the College Executive and Leadership Teams and will play an important role in shaping the culture and future direction of Simonds.

This is a full-time, ongoing position. Category A. Candidates must hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and have the relevant rights to work in Australia.

The position commences at the beginning of the 2027 school year.
