Our clinics are based in Melbourne, with the main clinic conveniently located in East Melbourne and additional clinics located at Parkville and Pascoe Vale South.
The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Dermatology Fellow to join our busy dermatology practice for a 12 month fixed term fellowship.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of medical and procedural dermatology, hair disorders and clinical research opportunities within a highly collaborative specialist environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with a variety of adult and paediatric patients in clinic – up to 10 sessions per week
- Review patient referrals, take their medical history, examine, diagnose, treat, refer to other specialists, request laboratory testing, prescribe medication and associated therapies, , report back to referring doctor, maintain patient clinical records, review results and communicate to patients.
- Perform non-invasive biopsy or excision procedures
- Discuss skin healthcare with patients
- Work with our support team of nurses, reception, patient coordinators, medical administration and practice managers contributing to smooth running of clinic
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with an empathetic demeanour
- Be patient focused
- Willing to refer patients to relevant clinical trials, where appropriate.
- Remuneration package and full employment perks and entitlements provided will be up to $160,000 plus superannuation based on experience.
About you – you hold
- Have completed a minimum of one year dermatology training in Australia.
- In addition to skin disorders and skin cancer experience, must have subspeciality experience in treatment of hair disorders including Androgenetic Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, CCA, FDS, DLE including most up-to-date treatments such as PRP and medication regimes.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to travel between clinic locations
