Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and organised Despatch Coordinator to join our team at our Kilburn workshop.

About the Role

As our Despatch Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders, repairs, and freight are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating picking and packing outgoing freight, managing despatch documentation, liaising with customers and transport providers, and supporting the workshop team to ensure jobs are delivered on time.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily despatch and receipt of customer orders and repair jobs.

- Book and track freight with various transport providers.

- Prepare shipping labels, consignment notes, invoices, and despatch paperwork.

- Picking and packing customers order and internal orders.

- Package diesel fuel injection components and other precision parts securely for transport.

- Liaise with customers regarding freight status, delivery updates, and collection arrangements.

- Maintain accurate despatch records and inventory movements.

- Assist with stock control and warehouse organisation.





- Coordinate interstate and regional freight requirements.

- Work closely with the workshop and administration teams to ensure timely job completion.

- Process customer collections and courier pickups.

- Ensure freight and despatch activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in despatch, logistics, warehousing, freight coordination, or a similar role.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry (Pentana knowledge an advantage).

- Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a rapid-paced environment.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current driver's licence preferred.

- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
