Development Manager, Industrial & Logistics

Sydney, NSW | Full time, permanent | Attractive remuneration package

Due to the internal promotion of the current incumbent, we're seeking a Development Manager with a strong leasing bias to join one of Australia's fastest-growing and most active industrial property developers, with a significant national pipeline and a strong presence across Western Sydney and other key logistics markets.

THE ROLE

Reporting to Senior Development Managers each across a portfolio, you'll run major industrial and logistics projects from feasibility to delivery and stabilisation, working closely with leasing agents and occupiers to shape leasing strategy and keep developments responsive to market demand. You'll be backed by a project manager for technical delivery, across a pipeline that includes a Green Star targeted Western Sydney expansion and a large-scale Aerotropolis development.

It's a great fit for someone who enjoys the commercial side of development and being close to the deal, rather than a purely project-focused role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive leasing outcomes across the portfolio alongside development delivery




- Manage feasibility, including due diligence, planning and financial appraisal
- Lead consultant teams through design, documentation and planning approvals
- Oversee construction delivery, including contractor, programme and budget control
- Manage project risk, reporting and governance

ABOUT YOU

- Development management experience in industrial, logistics or commercial property
- A genuine leasing orientation and solid agent and occupier relationships
- Confident across feasibility, planning and construction delivery

Also open to leasing agents: an experienced industrial or logistics leasing agent looking to step into a development management career would also be well suited to this role.
