The Opportunity:

Janus Electric is revolutionising heavy transport by converting diesel trucks to electric and building a national swappable battery network. We are scaling quick and need a skilled, detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to help bring our next generation of zero-emission trucks to life at our Central Coast facility.

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic, who will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and dismantling equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications, mechanically fitting components for sub-assemblies of electric vehicles and associated equipment.

What You Will Do:

- Assemble components and equipment using hand and power tools according to engineering specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for each job.




- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

What You Bring:

- Completion of a Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining).
- Previous experience in a similar position within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in assembly techniques, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work well within a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
