About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Digital Educator to join our Partnerships and Education Branch. In this nationally significant role, you will design and deliver innovative education and capability-building initiatives that support healthcare professionals, students, consumers, aged care providers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to confidently engage with digital health technologies.

Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will play an important role in improving digital health literacy, encouraging adoption of digital health solutions and supporting better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

What you'll do

As a Digital Educator, you will:

- Design, develop and maintain digital learning resources, eLearning modules and educational materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, healthcare providers, education partners and community stakeholders.
- Deliver engaging education programs and capability-building activities to diverse audiences.




- Evaluate learning outcomes and identify opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Provide advice on education strategies, learning design and digital learning technologies.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote digital inclusion and improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About you

You are an experienced educator with strong cultural capability and a passion for improving digital health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You bring the ability to design engaging learning experiences, build trusted relationships with communities and stakeholders, and contribute to culturally safe and inclusive education initiatives.

Essential Experience

- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, delivering and evaluating learning programs, digital learning products or educational resources.
- Experience engaging and building relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations.
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse audiences.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- Qualifications in education, instructional design, health, public health, learning and development or a related discipline.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent experience.




- Experience using learning platforms such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and inclusive learning design.
- Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.

Salary: $101,379 - $114,373 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
