Director, Strategic Communication

Employment Type: Health Manager Level 6, Permanent Full Time

Remuneration: $197,473.00 - $215,676.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation

Hours Per Week: 40

About the Chance The Director - Strategic Communications provides high level strategic advice to the Cancer Institute NSW Executive Leadership and teams across the organisation to build and maintain the reputation and credibility of the Institute.

The role oversees a multidisciplinary team of communications professionals to develop and execute communications strategies and develop high-quality communications materials.

Pre-Screening Questions

1. Describe a time when you provided strategic communications advice to a CEO, Executive Team or Board on a complex issue involving significant organisational, political or reputational risk. What was your advice, how did you influence decision-making, and what was the outcome?

2. Describe the most significant leadership challenge you have faced as a communications leader. What was the situation, what decisions did you make, how did you bring your team through the challenge, and what was the outcome?
