WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME FEMALE DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER

Up to 5 hours per day

Minimum 20 hours per week guaranteed

We are seeking a caring, reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a female participant residing in Wynn Vale and Salisbury East.

The role involves providing person-centred support with behaviour management, community participation, medical and hospital appointments, and capacity-building activities. The participant has specific support preferences and communication needs, so patience, understanding and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement behaviour support strategies
- Support community access and social participation
- Transport the participant to doctor and hospital appointments
- Assist with capacity-building activities, routines and skill development
- Encourage independence while maintaining safety, dignity and choice
- Maintain clear and accurate progress notes
- Follow the participant’s individual support preferences and communication needs
- Maintain qualified boundaries and confidentiality

Essential Requirements

- Only Female applicant
- Freshers who are willing to learn are welcome to apply
- Experience in disability, community or mental health support (preferred)




- Understanding of behaviour management or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and native-level English
- Strong person-centred support skills
- Driver’s licence
- Registered and reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance – required for transporting the participant
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and professionally
