About the Role

We are seeking reliable, professional, and values-driven Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

You will provide direct support to participants with complex needs, including physical, cognitive, and behavioural support requirements, within SIL homes and community environments.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, consistency, and adherence to established support frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver person-centred supports aligned with individual support plans and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
2. Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care
3. Support participants with community access and social engagement
4. Implement positive behaviour support strategies in line with authorised practices
5. Accurately document all supports, incidents, and observations in FlowLogic
6.



Participate in structured handovers and team communication processes
7. Maintain a safe setting and escalate risks, incidents, or changes in participant presentation

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 6 months experience in disability, aged care, or community services
2. Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours (highly regarded)
3. Solid preference for candidates with experience supporting participants with complex behaviours
4. Robust understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and participant safeguarding
5. Ability to follow structured processes and work within compliance frameworks
6. Excellent communication and documentation skills
7. Reliability and commitment to rostered shifts

Mandatory Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
- Full working rights in Australia
