About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide full care and assistance to a ventilated 31-year-old male with a spinal cord injury; this care will help him live at home with his family.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Ventilation and tracheostomy management
- Medication administration
- Assistance with Allied health tasks
- Manual handling
- Domestic tasks
- Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times

- ​Monday to Sunday 8am to 4pm daily - Please indicate your availability within the application form.

Requirements:
- Previous care experience
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Current references
- Mobile phone




- Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
- Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)​
