Role Description The District Sales Manager Western Australia is a full-time, in office role based in Perth, WA. This position is responsible for managing and growing sales within the Western Australia region, including developing and executing sales strategies, meeting revenue targets, and expanding the customer base in key industrial sectors. Day-to-day activities include visiting customer sites, conducting product demonstrations, providing technical and commercial support, and negotiating contracts and pricing.
The role also involves building strong relationships with distributors and end users, monitoring market trends,
and collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support.
The District Sales
Manager will prepare sales forecasts and reports, maintain accurate CRM records, and ensure a high standard of customer experience aligned with Industrial Scientific’s safety mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in field sales or account management, ideally within industrial, safety, or gas detection markets.
- Robust skills in customer relationship management, territory planning, and consultative selling.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions, including hardware and software offerings.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proven capability to work independently in an in office, field-based role and to travel regularly within the region.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices in Western Australia is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customer sites, including industrial and remote locations.
