Job Description

Responsiblities:
n
n
- Assist qualified technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.
n
- Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults while developing robust technical skills.
n
- Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
n
- Successfully complete your apprenticeship training, attend required trade school and maintain training records.
n
- Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training to build broad industry experience.
n
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
n

Skills & Experience:
n
n
- Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
n
- A genuine interest in mechanical equipment, heavy machinery, and developing a long‐term trade career.
n
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills, with the ability to complete training and workplace documentation.
n
- Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools and follow workplace safety procedures.
n
- Willingness to learn new technical skills through structured training, on‐the‐job experience, and trade school attendance. Reliable, motivated, and team‐oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
