A well-loved local venue in the heart of Nedlands, The Hampden Hotel is known for excellent food, a buzzing atmosphere, and a strong regular crowd. We're looking for someone who can help us keep delivering that experience, shift after shift.
The Role
As Duty Manager, you'll be the go-to person on the floor — overseeing daily operations, leading the team, and making sure every guest has a great experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing front-of-house and bar operations during your shift
- Leading, rostering, and supporting staff
- Handling customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, WHS, and licensing requirements
- Managing cash handling, POS, and end-of-shift reporting
- Opening/closing procedures and stock control
- Stepping in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager,
or senior supervisory hospitality role
- Current WA RSA certification (essential)
- Approved Manager's Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during busy service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
