About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front Office Duty Manager to join our team on a Permanent Full Time basis.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Country Club & Resort during your shift, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to members, guests and visitors at all times. As a hands-on leader, you will support and guide the Front Office team, work closely with Housekeeping and other departments, and play a key role in maintaining smooth operations across the property.
You will supervise daily operations, resolve guest concerns, support team development, maintain service standards, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and employees. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this Permanent Full Time role requires flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

As a Front Office Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of Healesville Country Club & Resort.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, supervise and support the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests and feedback promptly and professionally
- Ensure smooth Front Office operations, including check-in, check-out and guest services
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Assist with training, coaching and development of team members
- Support resort operations and maintain awareness of conferences, events and activities across the property
- Monitor property presentation and service standards to ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as required and support resort-wide operational needs
What you’ll need to be successful
- Previous experience in a Front Office supervisory, Duty Manager or leadership role within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment
- Experience in a 4-5 star hotel or resort environment, with Opera PMS experience highly regarded
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and guest service skills
- Confidence in managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Current Driver Licence
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one
- Excellent personal presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
