Who we are
Mizuno is a global sporting brand with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation and performance. Our Australian and New Zealand ecommerce business is growing, and we're looking for an Ecommerce Coordinator to join our small, hands-on team. We value Innovation, Sustainability, Performance, Inspiration, Passion and Trustworthiness — and we look for people who bring these values to life in the way they work.
About the role
As our Ecommerce Coordinator, you'll help look after the day-to-day running of the Mizuno Australia and New Zealand online stores.
The role has two key areas of focus: the site and the customer. You'll ensure new season products are launched on time, our catalogue is accurate, and the sites are easy to shop. At the same time, you'll help ensure customers receive a quick and helpful experience when they contact us, while identifying the underlying issues that can improve the customer experience over time.
You'll work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and collaborate with Brand & Marketing, Warehouse, Product and external agency partners across customer service, conversion rate optimisation and SEO. You'll be involved in product launches, campaigns, promotional periods and reporting — and you'll be able to see the impact of your work on the site almost immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and launch each season's Sport and Golf ranges across the Australian and New Zealand websites, ensuring products are live on time and presented correctly.
- Maintain accurate product information, imagery, attributes, pricing, stock status and categorisation.
- Build and maintain collections, category pages, navigation and onsite search to make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for.
- Turn campaigns, product launches and promotions into engaging onsite content and landing pages, working with the Brand team on creative.
- Identify and resolve onsite issues before they become customer problems.
- Act as an escalation point for customer enquiries through Gorgias, including email and live chat.
- Work closely with our outsourced customer service partner and internal Customer Service Assistant to support the day-to-day customer service operation.
- Process refunds, returns and replacements promptly and in a way that reflects the Mizuno brand.
- Identify recurring customer issues and help address the root cause — whether that's a product page, policy or internal process.
- Support the Ecommerce Manager in planning and executing key trading periods, including major sale events and the lead-up to Christmas.
What you bring
- 1–2 years' experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, online retail or online customer service.
- Experience with Shopify, or a similar ecommerce platform.
- A genuine interest in learning, being challenged and the confidence to ask questions.
- A proactive approach — you notice when something isn't right and take action rather than waiting to be asked.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with product information, pricing and promotions.
- Clear and confident written communication skills.
- Valuable organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once, particularly around launches and major trading periods.
- A practical, team-oriented approach and willingness to get involved.
- An interest in sport and the sporting industry is a definite plus.
Benefits
- Hybrid working environment
- Monthly RDO
- $600 annual product allowance and huge discounts across products
- Birthday leave
- Free onsite parking
- The opportunity to work with a respected global sporting brand
- A supportive environment where you can learn, develop and grow your ecommerce career
- Plenty of coffee, biscuits and team get togethers with catering throughout the year.
