Welcome to Cairns South Early Learning Centre, located in Edmonton, in the southern suburbs of Cairns.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and committed Early Childhood Educators to join our team and become part of the next chapter of Cairns South Early Learning.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, however, if you are currently working towards your Diploma, we would still love to hear from you. We are committed to supporting educators as they continue to develop their skills, knowledge and qualifications.

You will need

- A valid paid Blue Card
- Foundations Geckos Training
- A commitment to maintaining the qualifications and professional requirements of your role

If your First Aid, CPR,



Asthma or Anaphylaxis qualifications have lapsed, that's okay — you will have four weeks after commencing employment to renew them.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our team, you will:

1. Create and contribute to meaningful curriculum and learning experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths and ideas.
2. Observe children's development, document their learning and contribute to future learning goals.
3. Build strong, positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
4. Support, mentor and share your knowledge and experience with fellow educators.
5. Create safe, engaging and inspiring learning environments that encourage children to explore, investigate and learn through play.
6. Contribute to centre events, celebrations, community connections and additional learning experiences.
7. Work collaboratively with families and colleagues to support each child's development, wellbeing and learning.
8. Contribute to the continued development of our programs, environments and team culture.
