About the Role

This is a part-time (0.6FTE), fixed-term (1 year) position.

As an Education Assistant (General), you play a key role in fostering an inclusive and engaging learning setting for all students. You will support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs by assisting with classroom activities and providing individual and small-group support. You will help maintain a positive and safe learning environment, enabling students to access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and achieve their personal learning goals.

Your day will look like:





· Collaborating with teachers in implementing planned activities and programs to enhance student engagement and success

· Providing one-on-one or small group support during classroom activities

· Contributing to create an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive

· Helping students reach their personal learning goals and building confidence in their abilities

· Being a role model of the College’s values and actively supporting Catholic identity

Requirements for the Role

· Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

· A current Working with Children registration

· To be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education

· To be working towards or have completed the Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School To apply
