About the role

As an Early Childhood Teacher at the Snugglepot Day Care Centre Inc' in Taree, NSW, you will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years. This full-time or part time position is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to the growth and development of the centre.

What you'll be doing

- Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

- Fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

- Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to individualise learning experiences

- Building strong relationships with children and their families, and working collaboratively with the broader team

- Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

- Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and centre policies and procedures

- Ensuring you understand and meet the child safety responsibilities, uphold child protected behaviours and recognise when child safe behaviours are not being upheld.

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or Diploma Qualified educator working towards a Bachelor.

- Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care,



preschool or kindergarten setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills

- Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children

- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

- Working with Children Check

- 2 work related references

- Demonstration of commitment to child safety
