Early Childhood (Pre-Primary) Teachers to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that support the learning, development, wellbeing and school readiness of young children. The role involves using play-based and intentional teaching approaches, assessing children’s progress, working closely with families and other professionals, and creating an inclusive learning environment that responds to individual strengths, interests and support needs. Key Responsibilities

- Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning programs for children in the pre-primary age group
- Deliver play-based and intentional teaching experiences aligned with the

Early Years Learning Framework and relevant Western Australian curriculum requirements
- Observe, assess and document children’s learning, development, strengths and emerging needs
- Create safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments that support children’s physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development
- Support school readiness, early literacy, numeracy, communication and positive learning dispositions
- Develop individual learning and support strategies for children requiring additional assistance
- Work collaboratively with families to support children’s learning, wellbeing and development
- Liaise with allied health professionals, support services and other relevant stakeholders where required
- Apply positive behaviour guidance and child-safe practices in all interactions with children
- Support children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds through inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices
- Maintain accurate observations, learning records, assessments and progress documentation
- Participate in curriculum planning, team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with child safeguarding,

- Diploma or higher qualification in

Early Childhood Education or Teaching appropriate to the position
- Relevant experience teaching or supporting children in early childhood, kindergarten or pre-primary settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development, play-based learning, intentional teaching and inclusive education
- Knowledge of the

Early Years Learning Framework and relevant Western Australian curriculum requirements
- Strong communication, observation, assessment, planning and documentation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of child safeguarding and duty-of-care requirements
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals
- Working

With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current

First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management qualifications, or willingness to obtain as required
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence where travel is required Employment Conditions
