Kindergarten Teacher/ Lead Diploma Educator

Karinya Montessori Children's House is nestled in the Noosa Hinterland in the beautiful little town of Cooroy. As (Term 4) a position for a Kindergarten Teacher (ECT) and or a Lead Diploma Educator has become available for someone who is Montessori trained or open to learning the Montessori way. This position can be Fulltime or flexible Part time for the right applicant.

Karinya Montessori is happy to provide you with in-house training and will also pay for any online short courses relating to Montessori studies. At least 1 conference with accommodation will be offered to the successful applicant.

You will lead the kindergarten room with a self-directed learning environment and also have a Montessori Lead Educator as your assistant. A Montessori qualified Educational Leader will also be there daily to support you.

You must have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA equivalent. Graduates with experience in Early Childhood are also encouraged to apply. In addition, you will have an in-depth knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines (QKGL) and the NQS.

Current First Aid/CPR,



Child Protection and Blue Card/Exemption Card are required (or willing to obtain). We are child safe organisation and employ educators using the "Model Code."

You will need to be able to work as a team and help care and maintain a clean environment. A positive disposition is required with a dedicated attitude to children’s learning and development.

- 8 weeks (ECT) 5 weeks (Diploma Educator) annual leave pro-rata is offered to an ECT choosing to work full-time in the Kindergarten Setting.
