Role Description The Education Leader/2IC is a full-time, on-site role located in Eight Mile Plains. This role is responsible for guiding and supporting educators in delivering high-quality early childhood programs aligned with the center’s philosophy and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include mentoring teaching staff, modeling best-practice pedagogy, coordinating curriculum planning, and ensuring learning environments are engaging, inclusive, and safe.

The Education

Leader collaborates with center leadership on continuous improvement, supports training initiatives,



and maintains strong communication with families about children’s progress and learning experiences. The role also involves monitoring documentation, assisting with compliance requirements, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Education and Teaching skills, with experience in early childhood or primary education leadership.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Training experience, including mentoring educators and facilitating professional development.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and knowledge of Montessori or play-based approaches, are highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, understanding of regulatory and safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based workplace are preferred.
