Our client is a leading Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. We're looking for experienced 4x E&I; Commissioning Technicians to join a major shutdown at BHP MAC this October.

With a solid pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.

- Dates: 27/10 - 31/10
- Location: BHP MAC
- $95/hr Dayshift | $105/hr Nightshift
- Super paid on all hours
- Travel provided

What will this position involve? As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover.

Your duties will include

- Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
- Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning
- Loop checking, calibration and field instrumentation verification




- Functional testing of motors, MCCs, switchgear, valves, PLCs and SCADA systems
- Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings

What do you need to be successful? To be successful, you will have:

- Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
- Current LVR/CPR
- WA White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- BHP Inducted or willing to complete
- Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
