Peak season is here, and we’re expanding.

Integral Electrical & Air-Conditioning is seeking a skilled electrician to join our growing residential team. This role is ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in clean workmanship, professionalism, and completing work to a high standard the first time.

Our primary focus is residential electrical maintenance, upgrades, and installations across established homes and rental properties throughout Townsville.

Experience with air-conditioning installations and servicing is highly regarded, as it forms part of our overall service offering, however it is not essential. Electricians with a strong residential background will be supported with training and mentoring should they wish to expand their skillset in this area.

This is a long-term position within a business that values autonomy, trust, and quality workmanship, not rushed volume work or commercial construction environments.

The Role

– Residential electrical maintenance, installations, and upgrades

– Fault finding and diagnostics across electrical systems

– Lighting, power, appliance and switchboard upgrades

– Occasional split-system air-conditioning installations and servicing (training available)

– Preventative maintenance and improvement works





– Full ownership of jobs from start to finish

– Mentoring and guiding apprentices

– Working in real homes with repeat clients and organised scheduling

– $45 – $55 per hour depending on experience and capability

About You

– Qualified Electrical Fitter Mechanic

– Current electrical licence, driver’s licence, and CPR/LVR

– Strong residential electrical experience preferred

– Air-conditioning experience sought after but not essential

– Skilled presentation and tidy workmanship

– Ability to work independently with autonomy on site

– Takes pride in delivering high-quality work
