Our client is a large NSW Government department responsible for delivering essential services and infrastructure across the state.

The department is currently delivering a number of preschool infrastructure projects across NSW and is seeking experienced electronic security professionals to provide specialist technical support throughout project delivery.

Two positions available:

Senior Technical Officer – for an experienced Inner Range Integriti SME who also has project management or project delivery experience, including coordinating contractors, stakeholders, resources and timelines.

Technical Services Officer – for an experienced Electronic Security Technician / Specialist with strong hands-on experience across Inner Range Integriti, IP-based CCTV and networking.

Both positions require strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Project Directors, Project Managers, builders, contractors and specialist security installation teams.

The successful candidates will provide specialist technical advice and support across electronic security systems associated with the department's preschool infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include

- Configure, troubleshoot and support Inner Range Integriti access control and security management systems
- Install, configure, commission and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV systems
- Support network-connected security devices including CCTV, intercoms and associated technologies
- Diagnose and resolve IP networking and connectivity issues affecting security systems
- Provide technical input into security requirements, proposed solutions, installations and project deliverables
- Support the integration, testing and commissioning of electronic security solutions
- Work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, builders,



contractors and security installation subcontractors
- Review technical documentation and provide practical advice to project and delivery teams
- Prepare reports, schedules and technical documentation using Microsoft applications
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work with contractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues and deliver quality outcomes
- Provide specialist technical assistance where project teams require additional expertise

Senior Technical Officer – additional requirements:

- Demonstrated project management or project delivery experience
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, stakeholders and technical resources
- Ability to manage project activities, schedules, milestones and delivery requirements
- Experience identifying and managing technical issues, risks and dependencies
- Ability to take ownership of technical delivery from planning through to implementation and commissioning
- Project management qualifications are desirable but not essential

Skills and Experience:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Inner Range Integriti
- Inner Range Integriti Advanced accreditation is essential
- Strong practical Integriti experience; accreditation alone will not be sufficient
- Extensive experience with IP-based CCTV, including installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting and integration
- Strong IP networking knowledge and experience with network-connected security devices
- Experience with CCTV,



intercoms and other electronic security technologies
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Teams
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers and internal technical teams
- Previous experience within NSW Government or other government agencies will be highly regarded
- Experience supporting electronic security projects within education environments will be particularly advantageous
- Experience within Transport, DCJ or similar government environments will also be well regarded

The roles are primarily based from departmental corporate offices, with Blacktown and Gateshead preferred locations. Other NSW locations may be considered depending on candidate suitability. The projects are statewide and occasional travel may be required where specialist onsite technical support is needed. Appropriate travel arrangements, fleet vehicles and applicable expenses will be provided.

The initial contract is for four months, with potential for extension subject to program requirements and approvals.
