About the role

This part-time ELICOS Student Recruitment Coordinator role offers you the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation. Based in Sydney, NSW, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities to expand the company's ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) student enrolments.

What you'll be doing

- Proactively identifying and pursuing new student recruitment opportunities in the ELICOS market, both onshore and offshore
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing education agents, partners, and other stakeholders to drive new student enrolments
- Identify, approach, and appoint new education agents in key target markets, including agents within your existing professional network
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, responding to enquiries, and participating in client meetings to secure new business
- Assisting with the coordination and delivery of marketing and promotional activities to raise the profile of NEXUS English College
- Researching, developing, and implementing new products that meet customer needs while driving innovation and business growth
- Proactively identifying, engaging, and collaborating with industry bodies, key professionals, and stakeholder groups to support business objectives
- Planning, coordinating, promoting, and delivering education-related activities, including information sessions, virtual and in-person education expos, agent training workshops, and on-campus marketing and engagement initiatives
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to represent the College at education fairs, seminars, industry exhibitions, and key sector events
- Develop and maintain university, vocational education, and other pathway partnerships that provide clear progression opportunities for students




- Providing student services and performing basic administrative functions to support the smooth and effective operation of the College
- Monitor ELICOS market trends, visa and regulatory developments, competitor activity, student demand, and recruitment patterns to identify risks and new opportunities
- Contributing to the achievement of agreed individual and organisational recruitment, enrolment, sales, and growth targets.

What we're looking for

- Relevant experience in a student recruitment and business development role within the ELICOS sector
- A demonstrated record of generating student enquiries, developing agent relationships, and converting opportunities into successful enrolments
- An established network of education and migration agents, particularly in key onshore and offshore markets, is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise competing responsibilities, and follow up opportunities promptly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A results-focused approach, with the ability to work toward agreed recruitment, enrolment, sales, and business growth targets.
- A genuine interest in international education and a commitment to contributing to the continued growth and success of the college
- Ability to speak one or more languages (Korean and/or Japanese preferred)
