An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Supervisor – LV & Ancillary Maintenance to join our dynamic and influential team. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor – LV & Ancillary Maintenance, you will lead the Light Vehicle and Ancillary workshop and be accountable for protected and reliable execution of maintenance tasks.

In this role you will be responsible for:

n

- Manage planned and reactive maintenance of light vehicles and support equipment which includes:
n
- Service trucks
n
- Pumps
n
- Generators
n
- Trailers
n
- Prioritise and monitor breakdown repairs.
n
- Provide updates on equipment availability to stakeholders.
n
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure work is done in a timely manner and to standard.
n
- Support long-term planning and schedule improvement efforts.
n

About the Candidate

n

The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

n

n
- Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification
n
- A valid driver's licence
n
- Strong technical background in maintaining mining-spec light vehicles (such as Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser fleets)
n
- Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
n
- Proficient in maintenance systems, including SAP
n
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including supervising, mentoring and coordinating maintenance teams.
n

We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville, to name a few.

Commercial Flight Support is available per written request for senior staff members and above, for flights from Mackay (MKY) to Brisbane (BNE) return.
