The scheduler is a critical role in our supply chain, based in Wishart Rd Office, Berrimah. In this role you are accountable for stock management and scheduling fuel deliveries to our metro & surrounding customers and delivering great customer service.

This role is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 38 hours a week.
n
After hours phone: there is a requirement to take calls and potentially adjust schedules after hours as the role relies heavily on operational success, after hours phone is shared between CSC staff.
n
Key tasks include:
n
n
- Scheduling - planning loads in accordance with regulations.
n
- Stock management - reviewing and maintaining stock levels for vendor managed sites (VMI) and our internal depot's locations.
n
- Customer service, providing updates on fuel deliveries.
n
- High internal communication, regular updates and feedback to our customer and internal stakeholders.
n
- Optimise fleet schedules, maximising products to customer tanks.
n
- Problem solving, thinking outside the square and providing potential solutions to aid and close unplanned schedule or truck availability changes.
n
n
To be successful in this role you will be:

- Well organised and proactive, enabling you to plan and build effective daily delivery schedules for our fleet in Metro Darwin.
n
- An effective communicator, you will be able to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,
understand their requirements and the capability of our fleet and drivers.
n
- A problem solver! Be able to work with key stakeholders to troubleshoot in real time.
n
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Knowledge in the following would be advantageous:
n
n
- Scheduling of bulk fuel or goods & services.
n
- Bulk fuels operations and its day-to-day challenges.
n
- Road Transport Logistics (Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility & Fatigue Laws).
n
- General logistics management experience.
n
- Fatigue Management accreditation and general understanding.
n
- A background in using ERP systems.
n
- Working understanding of relevant HSSE requirements.
n
