Are you passionate about working with children and creating safe, inclusive and engaging environments where they can learn, grow and thrive? Catholic Early EdCare is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring Casual Educators to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Long Day Care (LDC) and Kindy services across the Western/Ipswich region. With more than 130 services across Queensland, you'll have the flexibility to pick up shifts that suit your availability, gain valuable experience across different settings and become part of a welcoming and supportive community. As a Casual Educator, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences for children and supporting their wellbeing, learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming and engaging with children before and after school
n
- Creating secure, inclusive and supportive environments where every child feels valued
n
- Planning and participating in fun, age-appropriate activities
n
- Working collaboratively with a passionate team to provide high-quality care
n
- Taking part in exciting vacation care activities and excursions
n
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
- Bringing energy, creativity, enthusiasm and positivity to every shift

Job Requirements

n

n
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
n
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
n




- A genuine passion for working with children
n
- A reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach to your work
n
- A Children's Services qualification, or be currently studying towards one, or hold an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA — desirable but not essential
