Ilim College is seeking a passionate and dedicated English & Humanities Teacher to join our Dallas Secondary Campus for the 2027 academic year.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position suitable for an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences for students.

Experience teaching VCE Legal Studies and/or Business Management is highly desirable, however, we also welcome applications from suitably qualified English and Humanities teachers who are keen to contribute to our Secondary teaching team.

About the Role

As an English & Humanities Teacher, you will:

- Plan and deliver engaging English and Humanities lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Monitor, assess and report on student learning and progress
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and College leadership
- Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider College community and uphold the values and ethos of Ilim College

What You'll Bring

- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration




- Ability to teach Secondary English and Humanities
- Experience in VCE Legal Studies and/or Business Management is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and student outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to the values, ethos and educational philosophy of Ilim College
