As an English Teacher at Hillbrook, you will inspire and engage students across Years 7-12 while contributing to a culture of academic excellence, wellbeing and belonging. Teaching both Junior and Senior English, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support student growth, and help shape innovative and engaging curriculum programs. This role suits a passionate educator who values strong relationships, understands the needs of adolescents, and enjoys being involved in the broader life of a vibrant school community.

About you
You are a passionate educator who understands the unique needs of adolescents and is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their best. You are collaborative, reflective and relationship-focused, with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing. To be successful, you will have:
- A Bachelor qualification in Education with a specialisation in English
- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Recent experience teaching Junior and Senior English
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and contemporary educational practices
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the School, including co-curricular and Outdoor Education programs
- A demonstrated commitment to child safety and student wellbeing
