We are seeking experienced Perioperative Enrolled Nurses to join to casual pool in our newly renovated day surgery, providing high quality care to our patients within Anaesthetics, Recovery and Theatre (Scrub/scout). Specialty services provided in the day surgery include: Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, Oculoplasty and Plastics.

Reporting to the Day Surgery Nurse Unit Manager, your duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to;

- Maintaining a high level of nursing care to all patients within the unit;
- Assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients; and
- Monitoring the condition of patients during procedures and reporting changes to relevant manager and Anaesthetist / Surgeon / Physician





About You Your understanding of scope of practice and positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required. In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to care for our patients in line with our Ramsay core values.

You will also bring the following:

- Current Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' relevant nursing experience in a perioperative setting (anaesthetics, PACU and theatre is desirable)
- Any post graduate perioperative qualifications will be well regarded
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate of $36.45 - $39.96 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD EN Level 2 Gr1-Gr6)
