Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare while enjoying the flexibility that casual employment offers.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients and their families. You will support the delivery of evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patients receive respectful and responsive services that meet their individual needs.





Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. You will actively consult with Registered Nurses to ensure delegated responsibilities are appropriate to your level of competence and are undertaken in accordance with professional standards, NBMLHD policies and procedures, and legislative requirements, particularly in relation to medication administration.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient safety and quality care, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be passionate about building positive relationships with patients, carers, families and colleagues while contributing to a culture of collaboration, respect and continuous improvement.

What you will bring to the role

1. Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in acute nursing.
3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
5. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
