The Opportunity

As an Enterprise Project Manager based in one of main capital city locations, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of medium to large and complex customer projects across telecommunications, network transformation and SD-WAN environments. Acting as the primary delivery lead, you'll partner closely with customers, technical specialists, operational teams and vendors to deliver successful outcomes that meet scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
This is a high-impact role focused on driving exceptional customer experiences while ensuring strong governance, proactive stakeholder engagement and successful project execution from initiation through to operational handover and closure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the delivery of medium to large and complex enterprise telecommunications and technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resourcing requirements and delivery dependencies.
- Establish effective governance frameworks, including project meetings, executive reporting, decision management and escalation pathways.
- Act as the primary project contact for customers, maintaining regular communication and strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including Sales, Solution Architecture, Service Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success and external partners.
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Lead implementation, migration and cutover activities for network transformation and SD-WAN deployments.
- Monitor project performance and take corrective actions to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners where required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of Enterprise PMO practices and standards.
- Mentor and support Project Coordinators and less experienced project professionals.

Essential
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience delivering medium to large or complex customer-facing projects within telecommunications, technology, network services or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of project delivery disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, governance, risk, issue, dependency and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivery outcomes.
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills with experience engaging technical, operational, commercial and executive audiences.
- Strong written communication, reporting and project documentation capabilities.
- Sound commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, cost management and commercial impact assessment.
- Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation and escalation management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and take accountability for project outcomes.
- Proficiency across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project and contemporary project delivery tools.
- Project Management qualification or equivalent qualified experience.
Desirable
- Experience delivering WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, cloud connectivity, voice, fibre, security or managed network solutions.
- Experience leading customer migrations, service transitions and complex cutover activities.
- Exposure to enterprise, government, healthcare, mining or other large-scale customer environments.
- Knowledge of IT service management and operational handover practices.
- Experience with enterprise delivery, CRM, financial or service management platforms.
- Familiarity with leading SD-WAN and SASE technologies, including Fortinet, Cisco Meraki or similar platforms.
