Your new role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead the estimating function from the company's Eagle Farm office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee the estimating team while managing take-offs, BOQs, pricing, supplier and subcontractor negotiations, budget preparation and cost reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine influence on business performance and project profitability.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a residential estimating role
- Strong knowledge of Databuild (essential)
- Experience preparing take-offs, BOQs and construction estimates
- Ability to manage supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to mentor and develop junior estimators
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
