About the role The Event Support Officer plays a key role in delivering first aid services at a wide range of public and private events across Victoria. Reporting to the Manager, Event Support Services, this role coordinates a dedicated volunteer and casual workforce, ensuring events are appropriately staffed, resourced, and supported. Combining workforce scheduling, operational coordination, and real-time problem solving, the Event Support Officer helps ensure the seamless delivery of safe, professional, and high-quality event health services.
This role is based at our Notting Hill headquarters.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, workforce coordination, scheduling, or service delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Current Australian Driver Licence with a safe driving record.
