About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, qualified and enthusiastic Horticulturist to join our team. This role involves working across a range of established private gardens, contributing hands-on to their ongoing care, improvement, and presentation.
You will be part of a supportive, tight-knit team where your knowledge and initiative will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintaining and enhancing private residential gardens to a high standard
· Plant identification, care, pruning, and seasonal maintenance
· Soil preparation, mulching, fertilising, and irrigation management
· Assisting with planting design and garden improvements
· Lawn care, including mowing, edging, and turf health
· Monitoring plant health and identifying pests/diseases
· Secure and effective use of gardening tools and equipment
· Working collaboratively with team members and independently when required
About You
· Formal qualification in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens (cert III or above)
· Extensive practical experience in high-end horticultural garden maintenance
· Strong plant knowledge/identification and a genuine passion for horticulture
· High attention to detail and pride in your work
· Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
· Valid driver’s licence & own transport
· Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
