Sprayworx Poly Coaters specialises in high-quality polyurethane finishing of kitchens and custom joinery.
We are looking for an experienced polyurethane undercoater / sander who knows the preparation process and takes pride in producing quality work.
We are prepared to pay well for the right applicant, with a rate of $45 - $60 per hour + super, based on your demonstrated ability and experience.
You'll be working in a well-equipped workshop with new preparation stations and a current 10-metre undercoat booth, giving you the space and equipment to work efficiently and produce a high standard of finish.
The Role
- Undercoating kitchen doors, panels and joinery components
- Sanding and preparation between coats
- Filling and rectifying surface imperfections
- Working with polyurethane primers and undercoats
- Checking work and maintaining a consistently high standard of finish
- Keeping your preparation area and equipment clean and organised
We predominantly use BC Coatings products. Experience with BC Coatings is highly regarded,
however experience with other quality polyurethane or 2-pack systems will also be considered.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven polyurethane undercoating and sanding experience
- A strong understanding of preparation and finishing processes
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- The ability to work independently and maintain quality
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability and good productivity
You don't necessarily need years of experience — ability and the quality of your work are more important to us.
