We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join our Maintenance team on a Permanent, Full-time basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Role
n
Duties are (but not limited to) the following:
n
n
- Carry out servicing, trouble shooting and fault finding in the Swick field-based workshops;
n
- Ensuring statutory servicing and testing is completed, service literature is recorded and forwarded for storing;
n
- Set your own priorities based on discussions in pre-shift meetings with both operations and other maintenance team members
n
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off by relevant parties;
n
- Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock;
n
- Daily work order and time sheet completion and submission.
n
- Closing out faults in Swick's live Fault register
n

The Candidate
n
The successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:
n
n
- Current manual C Class Driver License or higher
n
- Recent National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
n
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
n
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Attention to detail and time management
n
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role working with a fleet of light vehicles including Landcruiser, Hilux, Ranger, HiAce buses and Isuzu 4x4.
