With an established referral pipeline and a small, supportive team already in place, you'll have the autonomy to lead, mentor and grow the department, with a potential pathway to Partnership over time.

About The Role

- Lead a busy Family Law practice with an established flow of quality referral work
- Manage a diverse caseload including divorce, parenting, financial and support matters
- Mentor the existing junior lawyer and work closely with a paralegal
- Shape the future growth of the Family team, including building out the team around you
- Develop your own practice with strong support if you bring existing referral relationships or a client following

Responsibilities

- Manage family law matters autonomously from start to finish
- Provide strategic, commercially minded advice to clients
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
- Mentor and develop the junior lawyer within the team
- Contribute to the growth, direction and profile of the Family Law practice

Skills & Experience

- 5+ years' PAE in Family Law, with strong technical expertise
- Proven ability to run files independently and manage a varied caseload
- Strong advocacy and court experience




- Excellent client management and communication skills
- A genuine interest in leadership, mentoring and building a successful practice
