Position Summary
Do you enjoy working with technology, solving complex technical problems, and making a real difference for customers? We're looking for a motivated, hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality service and support.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician with a background in surgical equipment, including operating tables, surgical lights, and digital integrated operating room (DOR) systems. The position is based in Sydney and involves travel throughout the metropolitan area,
with occasional trips to regional locations.
What You Will Do
Performing scheduled maintenance on operating room equipment.
Assisting with Installing and commissioning of new equipment.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out urgent repairs.
Responding to emergency service calls
Managing your Trunk stock and ensuring inventory is up to date.
Providing top-tier customer service and technical support
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience in technical maintenance, servicing, and repair.
Minimum 2 years' experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting (preferred).
Understanding of data communications, networking, and fibre optic technologies.
Ability to work in operating theatres, including during live surgical procedures.
Strong computer and IT skills.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Current and valid driver's licence.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Willingness to travel, including to regional and rural locations as required.
