Complete Real Estate is entering a growth phase of the business, expanding core real estate functions into three distinct and independently lead departments. These departments consist of Residential Sales and Property Management, and a dedicated Commercial Sales, Management and Leasing service.
The broader, back of business company operations will need a person to assist senior management to support the above key operations. We are seeking an organised, detailed and proactive finance and management accounts administrator to support team leaders and general managers to guide the businesses broader base operations.
This is a role suited to someone who enjoys a stable base accounting work load with scope to drive business solutions that will help to ensure the business is organised, compliant and equipped to maximise the overall performance. Previous experience in real estate is desirable but not essential.
The role will have primary lead on payroll, accounts receivable and payable, compliance, licensing and support for operational systems, maintaining records and presenting summaries of results, monitoring licences and registrations, and preparing documentation for audits and quality checks.
Experience in finance, payroll and business administration will be essential to be successful in the role.
Working closely with senior management and department team leaders, you will be responsible for a range of finance, compliance and company admin across the business. If you are someone who is highly organised, comfortable working with confidential information, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in ensuring important processes are completed accurately and on time, you are suited for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR):
- MYOB
- Manage general agency accounts, entering creditor invoices and process payments
- Process and receipting incomes from department generated systems
- Oversee agency invoicing, track expenses, and reconcile accounts
Payroll and HR Admin:
- MYOB
- Process staff payroll accurately
- Manage employee records, tax requirements, and superannuation compliance
- Handle leave requests and resolve internal staff pay questions
Compliance, Audit Administration and Maintain Existing KPI Reporting Systems:
- Monitor, maintain, and renew corporate and individual real estate licences and registrations
- Prepare, organise, and review documentation for annual trust account audits and agency quality checks
- Ensure all office record-keeping meets industry legislation and Consumer and Business Services (CBS) requirements
- Maintain company policies and procedures
Key Requirements
- Proficiency using accounting software (MYOB) and knowledge of double entry accounting practices
- Understanding of ATO payroll and tax law fundamentals
- Experience assisting with audits, document control, and/ or licensing regulations
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Experience and understanding Client Relationship Management (CRM) software is an advantage but not essential
- The ability to become familiar in other legislation affecting real estate is desirable
