About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial administration of a privately owned group of property and investment entities. This is a full time, hands-on role working across multiple entities and bank accounts.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor bank accounts and prepare short- and longer-term cash-flow forecasts

- Process and reconcile supplier invoices and payments

- Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding debtors

- Process weekly payroll, Single Touch Payroll and superannuation

- Maintain accurate inter-entity loan and related-party transaction records

- Prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly BAS

- Reconcile bank, credit-card and loan accounts

- Maintain financial records across Xero, Reckon and some MYOB files





- Prepare management reports and respond to ad hoc financial and administrative matters

About you

- Strong bookkeeping or accounting experience with accounting qualifications

- Advanced working knowledge of Xero, with Reckon and MYOB experience highly regarded

- Demonstrated experience with payroll, STP, superannuation, BAS preparation and account reconciliations

- Strong cash-flow management and creditor-control skills

- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
